Ford F-750 vs Kenworth T370 Performance Specs

If you're looking for a truck with strong capabilities and a powerful performance, then look no further than the Ford F-750 and Kenworth T370.

Ford F-750

The brand-new Ford F-750 comes standard with a 6.8L Triton® V10 engine that delivers 320 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. For a bit more power, there's the available 6.7L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel V8 that can churn out 330 horsepower and 725 lb-ft of torque.

The T370, meanwhile, has several engine options. However, its standard 6.7L PACCAR PX-7 engine delivers just 200 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque.

Furthermore, the Ford truck comes standard with a Tow/Haul Mode with Integrated Engine-Exhaust Braking. This feature lets you stay in control while traveling downhill, eliminating the need for frequent gear shifting. The result is less braking, which could reduce maintenance costs.

The Kenworth truck offers a similar feature, but it's not as advanced as the one found in the F-750.

Interior Features of the Ford & Kenworth Trucks

Having a well-performing truck is invaluable. However, it's also important to have one that's comfortable and full of features since you could be spending a lot of time inside your vehicle.

In the Ford F-750, you'll find supportive and spacious seats that'll make taller riders happy. A 40/20/40 split front seat comes standard and includes an armrest with two built-in cupholders. The cabin itself is very quiet, reducing outside noise so you can listen to the sounds you want to, such as the music playing from the SYNC® system.

In fact, you can utilize SYNC® AppLink™ to download popular apps, such as Pandora® and iHeartRadio®, for tons of streaming options. Plus, with voice command, accessing all your media features is easier than ever.

The T370 offers similar infotainment options, but they're not as advanced as the ones found in the Ford. Plus, the Kenworth model has just one cupholder up front rather than two.

F-750 vs T370 Technology

Ford F-750 InteriorThere are even more high-tech features found inside these medium-duty trucks that go beyond entertainment.

For example, the Ford F-750 offers a feature called Active Regen Control. When a lot of exhaust soot builds up in the truck's diesel particulate filter, the engine needs to clean it out. However, if the truck is idling for a long time, this process can't happen-and that's when you'll be alerted with a light on the instrument panel and the push of a button will initiate the process.

The Ford also offers an Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor®. It'll track the following:

  • Oil temperature
  • Filter regeneration cycles
  • Engine idle hours

Then, it'll send an alert when it's time to change the oil, so you never miss a service interval.

The Kenworth T370 offers similar features, especially to alert you of needed service. However, its technologies aren't as cutting edge as the ones found in the Ford truck.

Which Medium-Duty Truck Is Right for You?

It's no secret that the Kenworth T370 is an impressive truck. However, if you want a powerful pickup with loads of features, then you may want to consider the Ford F-750.
