2023 Ford Chassis Cab: Lean Mean Performance

The unreleased 2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab is expected to offer the same engine options as its previous lineup. Based on the current model, there are both diesel and gasoline engines available for drivers to choose from. The base model has a 6.2L flex-fuel V8 petrol engine that makes 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque.

In addition, the manufacturer has a turbodiesel engine for better performance. These trucks have a powerful 6.7-liter diesel engine that can generate 330 horsepower and a torque of around 825 lb-ft. Then, there's the available 7.3L V8 engine that peaks with 335 horsepower and 468 lb-ft o torque.

Plus, all Ford Chassis Cab models feature a standard Ford Torq Shift® 10-speed automatic transmission. This transmission smooths out your rides and optimizes drive ratios and shift performance. On top of that, when they are properly equipped, the trucks can achieve a gross combination weight rating of 43,000 pounds. According to some sources, the upcoming diesel engine would have slightly more torque; however, Ford hasn't officially confirmed.

The 2023 Ford Chassis Cab has a lot to live up to, which is why we predict the model will have nearly the same engine configurations.

2023 Ford Chassis Cab: Tech Expectations

Though we don't have full-scale details, we do know a few things about this model. For example, the upcoming 2023 Ford F-350 Chassis Cab will include a more sophisticated cabin design. The model plans to introduce a more modern instrument panel. That's not all-with the XL trim level, there is a non-touch infotainment system for your driver and entertainment settings, which will elevate your ride instantly. Plus, there's an 8-inch touchscreen, new phone integrations, and Wi-Fi compatibility for up to 12 devices in the XLT trim level.

There are even more high-tech features, like the available 12-inch touchscreen and a Sync4 infotainment system. As far as safety is concerned, the model is predicted to include extra cameras and blind-spot cameras. Finally, Ford's Blue Cruise self-driving system could become available, but only in higher-rank trim levels.

2023 Ford Chassis Cab: Cab Styles

Once again, in order to see where the Ford Chassis Cab is heading, we need to see where it's been. Its previous model year emphasized the importance of a spacious cabin size.

That is why the model offered three different sizes: the regular cab, 4-door crew cab and the larger SuperCab. The latest model even offers optional features, like the available rear under-seat storage and a fold-flat/locking load floor in the Crew Cab.

It's safe to say that this model is made for those who are ready for big-move projects. Because of this we can expect the upcoming model to offer similar sizes and options. There may be some room to introduce some additional storage solutions.
